Women In Cannibis

I’m still on a high (Pun intended, but just a pun. Seriously, just a pun.) from attending along with about 59 others, the Women Grow NYC chapter meeting last night at Soho Farm. I’ve already made the case for the opportunity for women in entrepreneurship overall, above, so here I want to enlighten you to a burgeoning market that you can get a piece of if you take action now. Need an incentive?

The Cannabis industry is set to be worth $22 billion dollars by 2020.

I want to point out that there are opportunities to service the industry outside of owning a dispensary or growing the plant – so think outside of the box.

How can you use your skills, experience, and knowledge to assist others in the cannabis industry succeed?

Women Grow‘s website is a great place to get started and learn more about the industry and its opportunities and surround yourself with other female entrepreneurs. Meetings are hosted by 45 chapters nationwide on the 1st Thursday of the month. So head out to the next one in your area.

I wanna to thank Mia Di Stefano, NYC Chapter Co-Chair and Gia Moron, NYC Public Relations Chair for inviting me and hosting a dope event.

We are talking so stay tuned NYC…. 😉
